Stainless Steel Construction: EPJ Tanks are formed out of Grade 444 Stainless Steel which is ideal for hot water tanks because of its superior corrosion resistance, low maintenance, and durability. Stainless steel is safe, hygienic, strong and light in weight.

Passivated and Pickled: The manufacturing process for welding stainless steel interferes with the chromium oxide layer that protects stainless steel. Therefore, in order to restore the so-called passive layer, which makes stainless steel corrosion resistant, a thorough after treatment called pickling and passivating is necessary. This process guarantees that the passive layer is restored completely.

The Super Hot CX Heat Exchanger utilizes an all steel tank with an inner copper finned coil to provide system isolation and indirectly heat water.

• Ideal for isolating systems with non-oxygen barrier tubing or Poly-B to prevent corrosion in the primary loop
• Heats water indirectly and instantaneously when used with a boiler or alternative heat source
• High efficiency copper finned coil
• Wide diameter waterways resist “plugging up” when compared to typical flat plate heat exchangers
• Available in sizes ranging from 20,000 to 120,000 Btu/h
